Trust Wallet - Sicurezza, Staking e Dapp

Trust is the official wallet of Binance, the largest cryptocurrency exchange.

Trust Wallet is a multi-crypto wallet that supports many blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, ERC20 tokens, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, and TRON, and provides users with access to hundreds of DApps.

It is, in fact, a decentralized app, downloadable from major app stores, with a simple interface accessible even to less experienced users.

One plus of this wallet is continuous research and improvement of its features.

Trust Wallet stands out for its security and ease of use: private keys are not stored on any server but are saved on the device.

This means that you have full control over your funds.

The phone becomes your crypto wallet, with the possibility of restoration.

Another feature of Trust is the ability to interact with DApps.

This section within the application is divided into categories such as Games, Utilities, Marketplace, Social, etc.

Wallet Creation

  1. Download Trust Wallet for Android or iOS.

  2. Access the wallet and click "Create a new Wallet."

  3. Choose manual backup, it's safer!

  4. Backup your wallet by writing down the 12 words on a piece of paper. These will be needed to recover the wallet in case of phone breakage or loss.

  5. Re-enter the 12 words in the correct order and confirm.

  6. Now you are ready to receive crypto to securely store on your Android or iOS smartphone.

Wallet Interface

Once Trust Wallet is downloaded, this will be the interface:

  1. Settings: From here, you have the ability to change the interface, set your preferences, security, etc.

  2. Manage Crypto: By clicking here, you'll access a list of coins, from which you can enable a coin of your interest to receive and send it.

  3. Wallet Content: Here, you can see the content of your wallet expressed in dollars. You can change the reference currency in the settings.

  4. Your Addresses: Here, you'll be able to view all the addresses of your wallet, based on each coin and network.

  5. Scan: By clicking here, you'll open the camera to scan an address via QR code to send crypto.

  6. Send: Click to send crypto, select the one you want to send, enter the address you want to send to, the amount, and send crypto.

  7. Receive: Click to receive crypto, select the one you want to receive, and display the QR code address or copy your address or share your address.

  8. Buy: Through this function, you have the option to buy crypto. Trust Wallet will use a centralized third-party service where identity verification (KYC) is required. I discourage you from using this as the fees would be high and it would make your wallet nominal!

  9. Sell: Through this function, you have the option to sell crypto. Trust Wallet will use a centralized third-party service where identity verification (KYC) is required. I discourage you from using this as the fees would be high and it would make your wallet nominal!

  10. History: Here, you can view the history of your transactions, for any network and currency.

  11. Coins: Here, you can view the coins you own and their respective values on the right.

  12. Home: The main interface of Trust Wallet, as seen in the picture above.

  13. Swap: Trust Wallet provides a swap, a decentralized exchange, but it operates on the Ethereum network. Be mindful of the fees!

  14. Earn: Through this function, you'll have the opportunity to stake many coins, which is interesting! I recommend it if you decide to hold coins for a long time!

  15. Discover: Here, you can see features proposed by Trust Wallet, such as Earn, DApps, and articles.

  16. Browser: In this section, you'll have the opportunity to use DApps (decentralized applications) directly from Trust Wallet.

DApp Integration

Trust also allows you to:

  • Connect with DApps, decentralized applications that interact with the Ethereum network.

  • Connect with an internal decentralized exchange (DEX) to trade cryptocurrencies.

  • Stake various cryptocurrencies, including Tron, Tezos, Cosmos, Kava, Algorand.

However, I advise against it for DApp integrations and managing NFTs; in some cases, Trust Wallet may not be fully compatible. For this reason, I recommend using MetaMask or an official browser wallet.

Trust Wallet has established itself as one of the best solutions for managing cryptocurrencies via smartphone.

With its intuitive interface, advanced security, and wide range of supported cryptocurrencies, Trust Wallet provides users with a comprehensive and reliable experience for managing their digital portfolios.

Thanks to its ongoing evolution and close integration with Binance, Trust Wallet continues to remain at the forefront of cryptocurrency management in the industry.
